Oatka Creek Park • May 26

Willow Flycatcher

Zooming out of the previous picture, the brown vegetation consists of dead grapes from May 23rd’s late season frost. Between a half and two-thirds of the park’s grape crop was destroyed by the cold. All the other fruit in the park, e.g., cherries, seems to have survived intact.

Indigo Bunting. This is a first year male.
