Lincoln's Sparrow. These birds are not named after the president, but a young man who collected the first specimens when this species was first discovered.

Lincoln's Sparrow. These are migrants in our region. They nest in Canada and spend the winter in Florida.

Lincoln's Sparrow. These birds are often confused for Song Sparrows. However, the Lincoln's have finer streaks on the breast and buff colored areas on the face and upper breast.
