Eastern Phoebe

Brown Thrashers. It's a family outing! There were *six* Brown Thrashers in the group. In this picture the top two birds are juveniles and the bottom bird is an adult. The easiest way to tell the juveniles from the adults is eye color. (See below.)

Brown Thrashers. There are four thrashers in this picture. The fourth one is at the extreme righthand side.

Eastern Kingbird. These birds are now warning me away from certain parts of Maple Hill as I hike through. Obviously the nest is uncomfortably close to the trail!
