Pileated Woodpecker. This young lady was tapping on trees, looking for a meal, when she suddenly spotted a nearby large supply of poison ivy berries. She forgot all about the tree bark and jumped on the berries, eating them with obvious relish.

Pileated Woodpecker. Yes, I've been spotted. But hunger wins out as she went back to her berries.

Mallards and American Black Duck. The black duck is the third duck from the left.

Snow Bunting. After leaving the park, I decided to drive around the neighboring farm fields where Snowy Owls have been reported recently. No Snowies today. However, I did come upon a flock of Snow Buntings eating spilled corn in the harvested fields.
