Chipping Sparrow. The sudden interest in Chipping Sparrows, which nest in the park, is because the juveniles look very much like juvenile White-crowned Sparrows, which do not nest in the park. They are both in the park at this time of year. (The White-crowned Sparrows are migrating through.) So, one has to look closely sometimes to tell the two apart.
