Red-tailed Hawk. This young hawk was trying to establish a territory on Maple Hill. The resident Blue Jays would have none of that! They bedeviled this raptor nonstop.

Red-tailed Hawk. From which direction will the next Blue Jay assault be coming from next?

Red-tailed Hawk. Maybe from this direction?

Red-tailed Hawk. BOOM! This Blue Jay *head butted* the Red-tailed Hawk off its perch. The hawk ended up flying way, screaming the whole time with jays in hot pursuit to make sure the rout was complete!
