Owl Woods • April 7

Northern Saw-whet Owl. Today was a BIG day at Owl Woods! Six saw-whets were found. I took pictures and videos of three of the owls. This is one owl that most folks found because it was within arms length of the trail.

Northern Saw-whet Owl. This was another owl that was on the trail and easy to find. Unfortunately for the owls, today was a Sunday with gorgeous spring weather. So, the Woods were constantly packed with people. Such consistent human pressure pretty much meant all the owls this day were stressed, hence the open eyes with this one.
