Ontario Beach and Charlotte Pier, Monroe, US-NY
Jan 14, 2012
Comments: It was a cloudy and cold 16F late afternoon stop at Charlotte Pier. The raft of Long-tailed Ducks by the base of the pier has grown to twenty-one birds. Halfway down Summerville Pier sat the Snowy Owl, seemingly indifferent to the biting cold and breeze. My niece and I decided to stay on Charlotte Pier and admire the bird through spotting scope and camera rather than risk a trip along Summerville Pier.
Long-tailed Duck 21
Snowy Owl 1
