Oatka Creek Park, Monroe, US-NY
Jan 17, 2012
Protocol: Traveling

Comments:     It was a partially cloudy 46F late afternoon birding hike in Oatka today. The sun came out from time to time, dispelling the gloom for several minutes before the clouds would rally and return. It was another very quiet outing. The most active birds were Northern Flickers, whose squeals were passed back and forth throughout the woods in a call and answer manner. The remaining birds were furtive with encounters being evanescent.
