Oatka Creek Park • January 11

Oatka Creek Park, Monroe, US-NY
Jan 11, 2012
Protocol: Traveling
4.3 mile(s)
Comments:     It was a cloudy 48F late afternoon birding hike in Oatka today. There was a bit of wind at times. It was *extremely* quiet today with a mile or more walked at one point without encountering *any* bird sights or sounds. I ended up walking a slightly longer route by tacking on Maple Hill Trail, which I normally have to forgo this time of year due to the early sunset. I found my lone cardinal and a couple White-throated Sparrows at the base of the hill, but that was it.
