Comments:     It was an overcast 37F early morning birding hike in Oatka today. It was a moderately birdy day without surprises. Starlings and robins were active today, filling the airspace with flocks moving hither and yon. Tufted Titmice were everywhere while Black-capped Chickadees were relatively scarce. Cardinals were singing, possibly inspired by the warm temperature. Finally, woodpeckers were plentiful with Downies, Red-bellies, and flickers seeming to be in any direction one might look or listen.
