Comments:     It was a sunny and 57F early afternoon birding hike with Bob and Sue Spahn at Webster Park today. It was extremely quiet, which made the few bird events that much more interesting! The first was finding a Barred Owl after Bob got its attention with his owl calls. A second Barred Owl was also heard in the distance at one point. The second event was finding a pocket of chickadees and Red-breasted Nuthatches with Golden-crowned Kinglets and a Downy Woodpecker mixed in for flavor. Fun outing!
