Comments:     It was a cloudy and 37F noontime walk on Charlotte Pier in Ontario Beach Park today. The waters were relatively empty aside from the obligatory Ring-billed Gulls and Mallards. There was a Great Black-backed Gull on the water in the channel. It launched as soon as I raised my camera, but a got a couple pictures of the departing flight. Near the end of the pier there were small pockets of Red-breasted Mergansers, though none terribly close to the pier. Finally, the highlight was a pair of Bonaparte's Gulls fishing off the end of the pier.
