Oatka Creek Park • September 1

Comments:     It was a partially sunny and 80F early evening birding hike in Oatka today. It was a quiet night with very few birds responding to my spishing. One success, however, was spishing up two Black-and-white Warblers, perfectly viewed in the light of the golden hour before sunset. Sadly, their constant movement thwarted all photographic attempts. The creek was quiet with no birds flycatching and no sandpipers on the mudflats.
