Mendon Ponds Park • December 26

I made a run out to Mendon Ponds Park with my niece today to feed the birds and see what was around. The answer was: a lot! We had our best luck on Swamp Trail and the northern part of Quaker Pond Trail near the rail pond. We saw many species that are normally not hand feeders: brown creepers, golden-crowned kinglets, eastern bluebirds, and white-throated sparrows, to name a few. It's always a fun thing to do!
