Durand Eastman Park • Zoo Road • October 27

A colleague from work, Jeff Snyder, and I took a quick walk down Zoo Rd. and back over lunch today at Durand Eastman Park. Though sunny and warm with a crystal blue sky, it was also rather windy today, definitely blowing hard enough to discourage any birds from perching. As a result, it was a very quiet birding run. Our highlight was catching a pair of soaring red-tailed hawks and getting a couple of pictures. However, we ended up with more pictures of the autumn foliage than birds. :-)
